Black? British? Both?
Black, British, or both? I guess I will never knowโฆ Being half is not enough, And it will never be that much. Why Why Why can't I be like everyone else, 'Where are you from?' is a bad question 'What race are you?' is even worse, Answering those will be like hell. Why Why Why can't I just be one? If you ask; 'Am I black?' I'll say no, If you ask; 'Am I white?', it'll be the same Why Why Why is it so complicated? Is it that I'm cursed? Or am I blessed? Just having to pick one is hard. Why Why Why Why can't I be like everyone else? To know that there was one place I truly belonged To be able to find peace, not be discriminated or judged Is a miracle for people like me. Why Why Why can't I look the same, Hair, Skin and face, Why one big long name? I feel like a string being wound up along the finger. Why Why Why can't I be like everyone else, 'Where are you from?' is a bad question 'What race are you?' is even worse, Answering those will be like hell. Why Why Black, British, or both? I guess I will never knowโฆ Being half is not enough, And it will never be that much.
